Konin
It is a historical town located on old Amber Route. On a square at the gothic St. Bartłomiej Church (14th/15th century) there is a Roman milestone made of sandstone in 1151, which marks out half way between Kruszwica and Kalisz, 52 km away from these towns. It is the oldest road sign in Poland. It is also worth to see the cloister of Franciscans Reformats, Evangelical-Lutheran Holy Spirit Church with a classical Pastors' house and a gothic St. Andrew the Apostle Church in Gosławice from the beginning of the 15th century, which is one of the most precious Polish gothic buildings. In Gosławice one may visit a gothic castle with a District Museum.
